IEW Grading Services
Homeschooling parents are busy! Sometimes having someone else provide feedback on your student’s work is helpful! I can provide feedback on an occasional paper (see Editing Services), or I can contract for a semester of an IEW class. My comments include feedback on the structure of the assignment, the style required, and grammar. This provides the best of both worlds. You control the pace of assignments. I provide feedback as papers are submitted. I do not provide a schedule, keep track of grades, or issue a report card. You remain in control of those.

Students should submit their KWO before submitting the assignment. This can be a Word document or an image (PDF or jpeg) of the student's handwritten KWO. This allows me to provide feedback before they invest time in writing.
I provide a check of the rough draft for structure (does it follow the assignment model), style (are the IEW style elements used correctly) and grammar. You have your student make corrections. A parent ideally reviews my comments with the student to make sure the student understands what needs to be fixed. Then I grade the final draft, essentially looking at each paper twice.

I have taught three of the Structure and Style for Students (SSS) courses online and have been through all of the courses.
Sometimes students miss concepts taught during the video. My helpful tips in each assignment in IEW Gradebook remind students what to focus on for the structure and style in their assignment.
